I was able to crochet a this hat (I am the model :) and write a letter to Malinda about the amazing inspiration she has been to me. She responded back saying how much she LOVED the hat. She said it makes her feel pretty when she wears it and stylish as she walks the hospital halls. When I heard that, tears nearly fell. It is my deepest desire that the hats from Help A-Head will come with a message. The message is one of peace, comfort and the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. I also hope that the hats will help the recipients feel pretty, special and important. Every woman deserves to feel pretty and beautiful with exactly who they are. And every man deserves to feel loved and important. I couldn't have hoped for a better response from Malinda than that, for her to feel pretty and loved! :)
Char that really is an inspired idea and I love it. I remember that activity with the hot pads as well and wish I still knew how to crochet. It you ever need help in other ways let me know. You are such an example to me.

It's really fun to make hats (and lots of other cute stuff) and it really is easy once you get the basic crochet stitches down. It would be fun to catch up too! Just let me know, I'd LOVE to come help you learn again!
